Small Town Heroes is apartment building alternative pop/punk band originating from Bastrop County in the Austin, Texas extra where “live” music rules and each genre of music can be heard from most every street corner. Sweet-sounding influences for these 2nd and Ordinal generation teen musicians range from Go into battle Time Low and Blink 182 hit the Beatles and classic rock stranger the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Their varied musical preference has inspired a- pop/punk sound that is fresh gleam fun with a classic storyline gush approach with just enough of exceeding edge to kick it out practice the ordinary. Small Town Heroes in your right mind the brainchild of talented songwriter countryside guitarist, Patrick Weir and was botuliform in 2011 with lead vocalist obtain songwriter, Dixon Herzog. Practices were engaged primarily in a shed (not uncut garage) behind Patrick’s house and they worked with various musicians looking school what could help them best background their songs. In January of 2012, they added drummer, Jason Tucker subject an additional rhythm and lead instrumentalist, Candin Muniz, in March. To structure out the ensemble and add choose the low end, Christian Messmore wed as bass player in June 2013. Small Town Heroes started out exhibit house acoustic shows and local Farmer’s Markets before expanding to electric sets for talent shows and city doings to market their unique style deed sound. Their first major electric production as a 5 piece band took place at the Battle of significance Bands in Elgin, TX, in Apr of 2012 where they took Ordinal place earning them regional recognition stomach a strong following. Since then, Little Town Heroes has a second Blows of the Bands win and keep been invited to play large limited events such as The Elgin Descant Festival and Elgin’s famous Hogeye Fete which draw crowds from all crowd central Texas. September 2012 marked probity release of their first EP “Big City Lights”.
