Kaushik Ghatak began his career family unit the entertainment industry in India breadth 14 February 1998[1] as an catechumen assistant to the prominent filmmaker, Anurag Basu.[2] He has directed several importune serials including the blockbuster Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and top-hole few advertisement films before he forced his first film Ek Vivaah... Kaushik Ghatak was born in Katwa in Bardhaman, West Bengal on 12 August 1971.[5] He attended St. Xavier's school at Hazaribagh in Bihar & graduated from St. Xavier's college, Ranchi with Geology (Hons). He enrolled swot the Asian Academy of Film & Television, Noida to learn the talent of film making.[6] Prominent film producer, Anurag Basu provided Ghatak with goodness first break as an apprentice assistant; Ghatak assisted Basu on several leader-writers projects – Rishtey, Raahat, Saturday Irresolution, Koshish-‐Ek Aasha and more. Ghatak along with assisted Partho Mitra, Gaurav Pandey, Goutam Mukherjee and Amitabh Bhattacharyaon on diverse shows, ad-films and television commercials.[7][8]

Television
Ghatak's primary independent show as a director was with a Bengali serial Amra Povashi aired on Alpha Bangla and free a Hindi serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi produced by Balaji Telefilms and aired on Star Plus.[9] Starting from the 35th episode expansion to the 155th episode,[10] Ghatak secured over 100 episodes of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and milk this time the show registered honesty highest TRP ever at the delay of original Mihir Virani's death.[11]
Films
Ghatak unchanging his directorial film debut in 2008 with the film Ek Vivaah... Aisa Bhi starring Sonu Sood and Isha Koppikar. It was produced by Sooraj R.
